No Water

Adequate fresh, clean water must be available at all times to all birds with access points at an appropriate height.

Check:

Do the birds have water?

Can they access the water?

What is the water quality? Is it clean and drinkable?

When you put the chicks in the Inkukukaya cage, you should put stones in the water troughs and check it at least 4 hourly. The stones prevent the chicks from laying down in the water troughs. When they get wet, they are cold. The stones can be removed after the first week when the chicks are bigger.
